Monart for Homeschoolers
Monart designs classes that meet in the mornings and early afternoon especially for homeschoolers. Every Monart class integrates academic material into the projects, but for homeschoolers we offer additional academic content to complement the theme of each drawing lesson.
Projects can be grouped into eight-week academic themes that span the curriculum. Broad subject areas including science, social studies, multicultural studies, environmental studies, and history are investigated in lessons that also teach fine arts skills by exploring art concepts such as shading, color, design, perspective, and composition.
Studies have documented that art can affect academic success. It has been shown that you learn information eight times faster and retain it eight times longer if you draw what you are learning. Drawing is a tool that reinforces sequencing and problem-solving skills, as well as helps to increase visual perception and concentration.

Guidlines for Creating Purchase Orders
- We are an approved vendor for Connecting Waters Charter School and B.A.S.I.S.
- You are responsible for any tuition not covered by a purchase order
- The student continues to be enrolled in a class after a purchase order expires, unless you follow our standard notification policy for withdrawing
- There is a $10 processing fee for each purchase order
- Registration and purchase order processing fees are not covered by the purchase order system
- We encourage placing all children from one family on a single purchase order when possible
- Please request that the purchase order be written with the unit price equal to the total amount. For example, 3 months of 1 hour classes would have $195 for both the unit price and total amount. Sibling and quarterly discounts will only apply when the unit price equals the total amount
- Purchase orders can be written to follow our tuition policy of prorating the first partial month only. All subsequent months and the last month are at the full monthly or quarterly rate
Steps for Enrolling
- Decide on class titles and duration of enrollment
- Fill out an enrollment form and send it in with payment for registration and purchase order processing fee
- Calculate the tuition amount based on our policies. Please contact us if you need assistance
- Contact your educational specialist and provide all the details they request to create the purchase order
